RE: "Morgan cuts Intel EPS" ++++++++++++++++++++ For '98 from 3.25 to 3. The timing on this seems like it has a purpose to try to hold the stock down. Why isn't there some requirement to say what this is based on ? Without some clarification this seems like price manipulation. I don't see why something isn't done about these tactics, HP is a perfect example, from 60 to 80 on upgrades and obviously nobody talked to HP because they announced an earnings shortfall in the same time frame. I say let the DOJ take a close look at the brokerage houses and their tactics. jim
