There are thousands of analysts and money managers who use this forum to further understand the companies they own. The performance of their investments on average is mediocre compared to the general market performance. So it seems to me, that they hardly have all the answers and they earn their living by investing your money!

If I was so smart as to know all of the "sustainable competitive advantages" I certainly wouldn't be wasting my time pecking away at this keyboard.

My question was posed to raise the level of this thread which to me seemed to be deteriorating to talk of incidentals and not of true competitive advantages. As a point, I don't mean to mock Sam, but in today's business world if the CEO of a small start-up company isn't working on Sunday he's probably not long for his job or his money.

To be perfectly blunt, my guess is that you have no idea what a sustainable competitive advantage is nor do you have a clue as to the SCA's of little MRVC.

And to be perfectly honest, I don't either, nor do I really know what are the true SCA's of most of the company's I own which is also the case of most professional money managers based on their performance.

However, we can all speculate as to the SCA's and that was the purpose of the question.
