As I'm sure you noticed, Tero was responding to a post of mine wherein I'd asked him why he referred to Q in such colorful terms- leeches, parasites etc. He defended himself by saying you guys had started it by coining GSM Nazis and I said that I was in any case no proponent of these remarks.I think it's interesting that these terms are surfacing, and am hopeful that it's coincidental. I happen to be a member of that tribe who were the principal object of the Nazis racial scorn, as I believe is Irwin Jacobs of QCOM and also BTW Bernie Schwartz of LOR.This would not be the first time Jews had been labeled parasites, leeches, greedy, arrogant, all terms which have prevailed in this discussion. I hope that the type of aggressive behavior we've seen from ERICY is simply hardball and has nothing to do with anti-semitism, although I have to admit that I've spent a good part of my life living in Europe and found that stereotypical anti-semitism is alive and well, despite the virtual absence of Jews thanks to the Nazis, prejudices which have survived the centuries. Now Tero, I'm not calling you a Jew hater, and in fact the reason I said I was not a proponent of using the term GSM Nazis is that I don't think it's appropriate to throw such terms around loosely. So far no one has claimed ERICY is rounding up CDMA users and shipping them off to camps. Lying and murdering are not moral equivalents. Maurice, I hope all of these perjoratives have come up accidentally, that you weren't on to something, and that they don't really have anything to with any real underlying sentiment.
