Zeev, et. al:
I think that we would be hearing results very soon, possibly this week, maybe next. I say this because they started their 5 ton test about 3 weeks ago, and as I understand the process, it shouldn't take that long to complete, even assuming they are in "test stage" mode.
As I understand DJ's last letter, we are no longer in R&D. We are converting R&D to PRODUCTION!!! Sure, there maybe a few problems in this implementation Capt. Murphy assures me, but we are well beyond "onion peeling," as I understand the term. In short, get ready to hold onto your hats, the updraft could be substantial. This is not hype, but it assumes they can ramp up production to 15 tons with little expense as Dick indicated. Although no one knows for sure, ore values that have been previously imputed are north of the $1000 mark. So assume $15,000 gross per day X 300 days = $4.5 million and assume 3/4 of that is profit gives us earnings of about 15 cents per share. That's not too bad for a stock selling at $0.64!
Of course there is a chance the ore values recovered will be higher than the $1,000 benchmark I used above, and the EPS would rachet up accordingly.
Once production and cash flow are established, watch the buzzards start to flock on our door step because the real prize is, and always has been, the Oro Grande. Whether through a loan or a JV, I believe we'll live to see this mine put the South Africans out of the platinum business, and forever leave a scar on the face of the naysayers at AZBOM.
Regards to the faithful,
