Hi, everyone....I would like to point out that Sanguine
has NO COMPETITION at present. There exist only two other
pfc-based oxygen carrier molecules-Oxygent. from Alliance
Pharm and Oxycytea, from Synthetic Blood International.
The last data I spotted about Oxycytea concerned the
testing of four baboons in 1994. Data on four animals is
statistically meaningless, so I will not comment.
Further, as of now this company has no funding in place
for additional research at this point. The company at
present is reorganizing its excutive personnel. You can
get all this info at sybd.com
Oxygent has been found to be only a
Temporary oxygen delivery agent with a lifespan of 6 to
12 hours.....Fluosol lasts for one week in a functional
state....Many of you know that Johnson&Johnson recently
terminated its strategic alliance with Alliance-look for
the exact press release on the Alliance SI thread...........
So, Sanguine stands alone , folks......
Do the DD and check this all out.....it is just a few
mouse clicks away......have a good day...
