MP, We have done it before. Usually through jaw-boning. If anyone remembers, Ronnie Reagan's buddy, Jim Baker (not the one who was married to Tammy Faye <G>), talked down the dollar in Europe to support European currencies. When? The Fall of 1987. Then he allowed Ronnie to go to a meeting with Gorbachev in Iceland without Nancy to help him out, further draining confidence in the US and its currency. Coincidence? I think not. <G> If we see Clinton meeting somebody without Hillary present, other than a babe, that is, we will know the fix is in. MB
