Looking good today for the entire sector, but it remains to be seen whether or not we are just seeing the same old Y2K investors getting back into their favorites.

As for drop dead dates, 7/1/98 will represent 18 months to go. I'm not sure what industries and/or companies look ahead 1.5 years (someone said they thought railroads do), but, nevertheless, it's a date to watch carefully. After that, I'd say 10/1/98 because of the insurance industry (one year policies expiring on 1/1/2000 are issued), and then, of course, 1/1/99.
