ALERT at about 1:50 PM EST McCain left the secret meeting.

He is on CNN-2 , presenting his best face "forward": an
obvious disappointed Senator re: his bill.

I expect a vote for close within 90 minutes.

The ad campaign by the tobacco companies did reach the
appropriate Senators, the ads did make an impact,
according to McCain.

E-mail again, you perhaps have about 60-90 minutes to
express you view about the Senate tobacco bill to your
Senator.

If (and hopefully within the hour) the bill is closed,
then the likelyhood of reopening the bill after the elections
is low (IMO).

Senator's address.
