Update:
The broker by the name of Joe from Andrew Garrett, Inc. is Joe Loftus (212-682-8833). I tried to reach him to ask a few questions (yes, I'm a glutton for punishment and a few laughs) but Mr. Loftus is in a very important meeting.....

I did some research on Joe's pick Base Ten Systems (BASEA)! This wonderful company has the following great track record:

1. Revenues in the first quarter of 1998 of $900,000. Cost of sales of these revenues total $1,600,000.

2. Research and Development costs 1st qtr. $140,000 vs $39,000.

3. Sales and Marketing Expenses $1,200,000 vs $700,000.

4. General and Administrative Expenses $1,300,000 vs$500,000.

5. Loss in 1st quarter of $4,400,000 vs $1,900,000 (on revenues of $900,000???)

No offense but even a monkey could perform better than that. Can you imagine any broker touting a company with this record?
