Veramark's VeraBill Added to Lucent's Cooperative Innovations Portfolio

biz.yahoo.com

>>The VeraBill customer care and billing system, developed by Veramark to support the operations of emerging network service providers around the world, will be used in conjunction with Lucent's family of wireless infrastructure products. Lucent is an international leader in wireless communications and supports major standards-based architectures including analog cellular (AMPS), GSM, CDMA, and TDMA services.

Lucent recently established the Cooperative Innovations program to supplement its own family of products that help carriers better manage billing center operations. Applications marketed through the Cooperative Innovations program are tested for compatibility with Lucent's wireless equipment at their state-of-the-art Wireless Innovations LabSM, a microcosm of a real-world wireless network located in Lisle, IL. Under the program, Lucent customers will be referred to appropriate Cooperative Innovations' partners.

VeraBill has already been successfully implemented in several wireless networks in Europe, Africa and Asia. As a result of Veramark's participation in Lucent's Cooperative Innovations program, the VeraBill system will be included in Lucent's global marketing efforts targeted at operators of AMPS and PCS digital networks. <<
