Cheryl -
You need to remember what the purpose of these forums is - to help investors make decisions about where to invest. Company fundamentals are one of the issues which help many investors make those decisions.

Unless there is some linkage to the issues you are raising and the potential for a shift in market or earnings potential, I'm not sure why investors would care about them. Let me again point out a few facts which might interest an investor looking at say MSFT vs SUNW as a purchase.

Sun used to dominate the workstation segment. They are now on the verge of being marginalized in that segment. Sun sold less than 300,000 workstations last year, and it was a good year for them. MSFT just announced 15,000,000 NTW sales. IDC says more than 8,000,000 were sold in 1997.

As someone looking at the market potential, would the fact that MSFT sold more than 30 times as much workstation software as Sun enter into the decision?

I have repeatedly asked if you have any explanation for the market performance and revenue of the Wintel products versus Sun, which would also appear to give Wintel about a 30 to 1 advantage on most measures. What you give back is more Sun SPAM. What's your point? Do you think that any of the issues you raise will have any impact on MSFT stock price? Or do you work in the PR department at Sun?
