Hey Fred,

<<<As for WOODY vs BUZZ...well, both names are very suggestive... on that basis, I'll take BUZZ...but what's in a name?! >>>

LOL! I'm more of the Woody personality (the Pixar cowboy, not Woody Allen) when it comes to stocks sometimes, BUT THAT'S NOT MY VOTE...I'm not telling yet. <gg>

The 10% figure was stated as "7-10%" in the email from Anna. No, nothing is ever certain, but I would think that investor relations has some handle on this, and although you are skeptical about the profit margin on the video, I really don't think that the 10% figure is unreasonable. In any event, the Q3 earnings were fine, so I wouldn't anticipate the Q4 to be soft, given the video release in conjunction with the added hype, as you say.

Also, it is preferable for a stock to move based on fundamentals, performance, not hype, as you say, but in this case, PIXR needs to get "known" and the Annie Awards & this video release may just be what the doctor ordered. Hype's ok by me if that's what it takes to make a name for them right now.

Stock to 10? I doubt it, seriously. In a bad market, sustained bearish mood, I mean...maybe 12-13ish. I would be a buyer at 15, if I could get it there again myself.

There will be no humungus profits until Pixar cuts loose from Disney, but by then, the stock may not be in the teens. The CD-rom titles seem to be selling well, and these are PIXR's profits, not Disney's, I believe. Disney will no doubt take the Lion (King's) share of BUGS' profits, too, and movie #3 the following year. Then, Pixar will be well established, and...look-out!! That's really when I want to have a zillion shares!!

I will be going to Disney World again the first week of December, and will interrogate all the Disney employees for information, as usual. Will file my typical post-trip report at that time!! (Toy Story parade is still the featured attraction at MGM, BTW...can only help sales of the CD rom, and the video...Please, Santa, please...) What a shame that I don't see Pixar's name all over the Disney merchandise, though. (Guess that's why they are the multibillion dollar mack daddy!)

That's all (whew!), and good luck to all.

Vicki
