Re: "I wonder who is buying all that equipment", I think it is just a blip. The KLIC pre-announcement is much fresher data, and they indicated that the outlook got significantly worse just in the last two weeks. It has been suggested either here or on the blood thread that they may be leading indicator for the sector.
