Dan, I have to admit the Fibronics acquisition had me nervous at first glance. The more I see this deal for what it is, the more I like it. Through the Fibronics acquisition we will have an increased product line, and a farther reaching sales and marketing area. We should be able to see all the events of the acquisition unfold by mid 97 that will position MRVC for the future.

Gary, the 1gig uplink is still on time. Sales should begin in early December. Impact probably will not be felt until the first quarter which will be its first full quarter of sales. You asked about sustainable competitive advantages. My opinion is that it lies with development and marketing of their product first. This has already distinguished MRVC as a leader in the ethernet area. I believe that would be the single best bright spot of the company. Will they continue being the first to the marketplace time and time again with their product? I am not that naive. They will get beat to the market first sooner or later, but it wont be by much. To change gears, I too would expect the CEO of a company like MRVC to work on Sundays as well. What I dont expect that he would be willing to take the time with me on a Sunday. Very impressive, you must admit.

One last thing, it was brought to my attention how the institutional holdings are calculated on stocksmart. I was way off base with my logic. I still havent had the chance to dig out current numbers, but I hope to do so soon. My appologies. I hate it when I am wrong.
