David, i am astounded at the lack of credibility that your comment lacks.

I am a trader and have been for quite some time, i have a bloomberg a top my desk and have been trading AMZN for about two weeks now. Upon reading your post <These were not short covering. Volume and size of trades way to heavy and large.> it infuriates me to see people post information that is totally erroneous. I have every trade on AMZN from the time it was $75 3/4 at 15:44 through 16:01 at which time it traded at $79. There was no doubt a resurgence of volume during this time period which is illustrated in this graph quote.yahoo.com but there were only 7 trades during the entire time period that were in excess of 1,000. (6 of those trades were 2,000 shares and 1 was 8,700 shares.) These are hardly the size of trades that i would consider large) I suggest you keep your enthusiasm to a level of credibility.
