Thanks for posting Reuters, Again a version of what I earlier dubbed "Modus Aolus", The Financial times said "ONE PERSON said they offered.." So Reuters concludes "..they would have offered.....". The accurate quote should be "LFT reported that one person said.." How lame a story would that be. The original LFT article is carefully written so as to leave open that this "ONE PERSON" could be just about anyone. They didn't even call this person a "source" which is below an "unnamed company official" which is below a "spokesman for the company". Is there anything lower in credibility than "one person"?
