On pristines website there is a document called "Pristine's Course in Playing Market Maker". It basically outlines how one, by using a system like The Executioner, ("TE") can bypass and override the MM's.

Frankly it sounds to me like one of those "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". The idea definitely sound great. Unlike trading with a brokerage such as Datek or Ameritrade where one has to submit the order to a MM who may or may not execute the order, TE, according to this document, allow one to put the order directly on the market.

I miss seeing some information about the financial situation though. I mean, to trade with a broker one has to have money on an account there. How would it work with TE? Will they operate an account? What is my security as a consumer in this case? What if they just take the money and run?

Also, there are usually two sides to a coin, but in this case I can't see the catch...

Comments anyone?
