To All: Intel has recently started shipping its Express 3D Graphics Cards bundling Zoran's Softpeg to OEMs. This means that Zoran will receive a license fee for every i740 card that Intel ships. For example, assuming Intel ships 20 million cards and pays Zoran $1 for each license, this would translate to $20 Million revenue at virtually no manufacturing cost. That is a substantial amount for a company the size of Zoran. Also, by bundling Zoran's hardware/software DVD solutions with its i740 cards, Intel can address the huge add-on and upgrade market for 3D Graphics/DVD. I think we can all agree that Zoran's PR has been non-existent but its technology is very well positioned for the PC market. Good Luck BE channel.intel.com
