#reply-4885867 . I think he hasn't been around for a real bear, but he survived the '87 and '90 corrections O.K. What I remember from the numbers I saw (and wish I could find) is that when he did not outperform, it was by a close margin. He definitely did not melt down. One other compliment I have for him is that many (actually most) managers have been hot during one phase of this grand bull, and have then fallen apart when their style fell out of favor. Sort of a sector rotation of bullish strategies. <g> He's survived this phenomenon. Actually, AIM is a good example of this. They have been chumps the last few years.
