Narotham - Re.: MIFGY Buys INTERSOLV

I have MIFGY but not ISLI. Always wanted to buy ISLI, never got around. Now I have both.

What does the merger tell me?
When the labor market is tight for skilled programmers, buy the company with its employees and tools.

When the work load is huge and the deadline can not be changed, do not spend time developing tools. Just buy the company and the tools?

Stock swap takes the least cost. At today's depressed price ISLI is a steal like other y2k-driven stocks. Those in the business acknowledged it.

Instant geographical diversity (global basis). CBSL's CEO understands it. Instantly, more sales and marketing offices as well as the support infrastructure have been added.

We need to see whether there will be share dilution, the earnings potential of the combined company, how well they integrate, etc. Ram
