There is a billion dollar class action suit against NASDAQ MMs that is working its way up the courts, but the one I have seen cuts off a few years ago. Is there a new one? Also, from a previous post,

"The MM's really do not care about making a two sided market, they're strictly there to make money for themselves and they do not care about you as an investor."

Now, don't take this the wrong way, but I don't fault the MMs for having this attitude. After all, our objective as an investor is to make a profit, and we don't care about the MMs. This is the way business works. The problem that I see is that NASDAQ has made the playing field uneven, so that as investors we don't have any power other than recourse to class action suits. So the problem is not with MMs, many of whom I'm sure are nice people, but with the NASDAQ BB system.
