Petz,Robert, That is the URL I spoke of, ZDnet UK Looks like the slot 1 costs will impinge on any chance the celeron has to penetrate the under $1000 systems(Under $500?) so Intel makes a new one. I wonder if AMD will make a 470 version of their K6-3D or will Intel try to complicate things and make the 470 chip set marry their celeron alone? Shows intel can run scared. What if the 470 falls flat on it's face? At least it exposes the slot 1 as not needed. Bill
