The good thing about not being a full-time daytrader yet, is I missed the RUMBLE. Nice ringside call, Darren; Howard Cossell would be jealous.

On a more serious note. I did not intend for my question to Bill to turn into this mess. I apologize for the furor it has created. I only asked Bill if the new version was available or if it was hype. I should have sent that question as a Private Message (as I'm sure the authors of other messages today wish they had done).

I do intend to sign with Cybertrader. I know Bill is unhappy, but I still think it has the most going for it. However, I think many of these messages would not occur if people were face to face. I've noticed that these threads (with their faceless computers) allow people to respond in ways they normally would not. Maybe a few lessons learned?.......

1. Make sure inflammatory remarks or (on my part) questions which may create furor are asked in a private message.

2. These pissing contests are great for the competition; an MB trader has posted it all over the SI threads. I don't think this was Bill or Phil's intention. P.S. Shame on those who use these arguments to make one product look better than another!

3. I learned that in the future I should first call the company (in this case Cyber) with questions that are really important, as opposed to asking here first.

4. Business 101 - Don't argue with or possibly create a public argument with an unhappy customer. Nobody wins!

Not every customer is going to be happy. I've worked for the biggest software company and understand the inherent issues over development and new versions. This is an emerging industry and growth pains will be there. But, Cybertrader, IMHO, has an excellent chance at shaping the future.

I'm ready to kick some MM butt!

Brent
