NEW YORK (AP) - America Online's stock climbed 5.5 percent today after a published report said the world's largest online service provider rejected a takeover proposal from AT&T. The Financial Times said AT&T chairman Michael Armstrong approached AOL several weeks ago with a tentative offer.
