Tero is not claiming Iridium is analog. Even with Iridium's digital backbone, this system has too little bandwidth to be a serious competition in the future. With $2 to $3 a minute, only the backpack-loving executives of some companies would be interested. How many executives are into backpacking in the middle of nowhere? Time Traveler
