According to the report license revenues only grew 10%. Americas database revenues led the way with 24%. Assuming an overall growth of 20% database license revenues, with applications accounting to roughly 20% of total license, growth in it must have slipped real bad by about 30% from the previous year. SAP is eating Oracle's application lunch, but at the same time giving back dessert to Oracle through increased database sales.
