Many of the semi's are in lots worse shape than INTC. Fleck's piece on this is pretty good. Actually, INTC is the laggard in heading down, but it will. I know it already dropped from the 90's, but it is a favorite and will hold up for a little while longer than the others. Chart some of those guys in the SOX and you will see what I mean.

I don't know that it is so much a problem of Asians producing and selling below cost. There is excess capacity. In DRAM for instance -- everyone has no choice, but to sell below cost.

BTW: Punted all my FAX today for $100 loss on the bounce and took a quick 15% gain on 1400 EWM I bought yesterday. I think this intervention business will only work for a very short period of time and then we retest the lows in Asia and perhaps our market here gets a real adjustment, BWDIK.
