T is showing some amazing stability in the recently volatile market swings. This indicates to me that investors have high expectations for a major deal to keep T among the telcom leaders. I am a big T supporter, but It appears a little embarrassing if T actually did make the offer for AOL and was immediately rebuked. One would think that Armstrong would have been able to make some confidential contact without going public. AOL is overpriced as it is without T paying a big premium. While they are shopping why doesn't T make an effort to improve and expand Worldnet. They really haven't made it more attractive or initiated much improvement since it originated. T should have ben able to convert more of their long distance customers to Worldnet. And they are no longer price competitive unless you are a long distance customer. Acquiring AOL may not have been the easy solution that it appears to be on the surface. Rap
