"Well, jhild", said Muffy. "You're about to be involved in the slickest corporate takeover ever seen. Meet us in Los Angeles at the old apartment building. I'm sure you remember where it is. You were there often enough. See you there." As an afterthought, she told him "And, keep this quiet ... or else!"

With that, she hung up. She grinned widely.

"OK, we're set!", she said to Jeff and Norma.

The other two looked at each other, wondering what the heck Muffy was talking about. "Please explain", asked Jeff.
