Berney,

People are buying into EK because it looks exactly like T did a year ago: a dying warhorse. But a few bright souls thought T was a good buy at 30, and doubled their money in less than a year. Since EK has moved recently to cut deadwood, some expect to see a turnaround in the near future. (The difference is that T had a PE of 10, which was expecting to see continuing erosion of market share. EK has a PE of 70 or so the last time I checked.) I have ridden EK up for a point or two in the trading range between 62 - 72 in the last few weeks, but I've been reluctant to stick with it for any length of time.

Regards,

Marc
