Windows' Share Of Market Will Grow Due To New PCs Date: 6/18/98 Total shipments will be strong for Microsoft's Windows 98, but there's only ''modest to low'' interest in upgrading from Windows 95, Dataquest reported. Still, Microsoft's PC operating system dominance will grow, reaching 95% market share by the end of '99. That's up from 91% now. Also, Sony plans to launch TV set-top boxes compatible with Windows CE as early as '99.
