Hayes Celebrates 20th Year With Free Software
Newsbytes - June 16, 1998: 2:30 p.m. ET

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, U.S.A. (NB) -- By
Craig Menefee, Newsbytes. Hayes Corp.
[NASDAQ:HAYZ], the firm that gave PCs a
running start into the online world in the late
1970s with its line of 1,200 bits-per-second (bps)
SmartModems, says it will celebrate its 20th year
in business by giving away the store, or part of it
anyway.

Dennis Hayes, chairman and founder of the
firm, said the gifts are intended as a "thank you"
to Hayes customers. "It is our way of expressing
our gratitude to our customers for their continued
support throughout the years."
