NVID completes test of Microsafe vs LYSOL R BRAND
disinfectant spray
SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 1996--NVID International (OTC BB:NVID)
announced Wednesday that results were completed, by an independent nationally recognized
laboratory, of a side by side comparison of their non toxic liquid disinfectant, Microsafe (F-7),
against one of today's leading disinfectants, LYSOL R BRAND disinfectant spray (Manufactured by
Reckitt Coleman).
The results proved that Microsafe (F-7) equaled or exceeded LYSOL R BRAND disinfectant
spray killing dangerous bacteria without the toxic effects and environmental hazards of LYSOL R.
Tests proved Microsafe (F-7) to be effective in killing 99.999% of the following bacteria after 10
seconds of contact time:
1. E Coli 0157:H7
2. Salmonella Cholersuis
3. Staphylococcus aureus
4. Listeria monocytogenes
The company will produce Microsafe (F-7) as a topical spray to be used in similar applications to
LYSOL R without the toxicity. Other applications include: Anti-microbacterial hand soap (health
care industry standards), anti-microbacterial wash (liquid and ointment) and an anti-bacterial
fungicide shampoo.
