MAX Pain vs other options analytical methods

IT seems to me Ben given the low volume of most options transactions that it ought to be possible to graph the actual premium paid to obtain the option. By charting the premium you get a better take on where the MAX pain level is for each option.

For example one could follow all of the 99 NOVL Calls starting now and get a good idea of what was paid for them sale by sale. Closer to options expiration you would then know (if you were a MM) what price would make the maximum number of options for a given strike price worthless.

Haveyou ever looked into this?
