I don't know anything - thanks for the news! I am interested - but after holding 2000 shs for years I finally sold it this year. Carteret held my mortgage and seemed like a well run bank - so I followed the stock. When the banks and S+Ls hit the fan - Ambase fell from 16 to .50 and was likely to lose the bank - I bought in at .57 (fall'91?)- thinking (betting) that if they somehow kept the bank the stock would be 10. I sold half in feb to buy another stock (which went up) and the other half in apr (to buy a different stock which went way down). Your news about one court case may explain the $1 drop. What's the value to Ambase to settle the goodwill case? And when? What kind of business might mangt. make or buy if they get to be in the black and keep some cash? If this co has value I might buy in again. If you post it I will read!
