You're being unduly negative. True, they may have blown it with the VisualWave team; but then, the stock was 5x as much as it is now before mgmt screwed up, so don't you think they've been adequately punished for their sins against the Austin group?

Sun managed to alienate most of the original Java team and the best of the bunch have left for greener pastures, including PARQ. Inept management at Sun clearly blew an opportunity to expand Java software quickly for petty political reasons. Despite this, SUNW has increased in value partly because, warts and all, they have a good chance of participating in the major software growth area for the next decade. The same is true of PARQ.
