Okay, now I remember where I last saw your posts. I have also wondered where Evil Emile went, but not too hard. I am afraid that concentrating very much on this question might conjure him up or something!!

I was asking the science fiction question for my daughter, who is starting high school in the fall. She says she does enjoy it, but most of it seems to be mostly for guys. She has to read a lot of books over the summer for the summer reading program at the library. I will print your post out and stuff it in my wallet so that the next time I go out, I can look over the books you recommended.

If you were going to read Bear, is there any particular order that would be best? I just like the title "Blood Music" a lot!
