Michael, >>You don't sell a lot of tractors to emerging nations when the dollar is acting like King Kong and grain prices are in the toilet.

We had a huge inventory problem back in the 80's during the agriculture depression. This inventory has been taken care of and farmers, (at least in North Dakota) are waiting 6 to 12 months for delivery of new equipment from DE. You are correct that Japan is the wild card right now, but that could change if the "Sun" enters the world of non leveraged capitalism.<ggg> I expect the stock to go lower but will add more of this company to my long portfolio between $45 and $47.

Another subject, I have been looking for companies that will disappear from the semi landscape (other than MU <ggg>) during this semi recession/depression? Do you have any thoughts?

Joan
