To all: I am confused about the earnings per share. Here is my story:
$500,000 per month profit gives $6,000,000 per year. On about 8,000,000 shares outstanding this gives you 0.75 per share. Now some
claim that the $0.75 is based on the new # of outstanding shares, so
how can this be? Profits should then be in the order of 18 millions.
In any case if the profit is only 6 millions on 24 million shares
then EPS would be 0.25 . With a PE of about 10 this should take the
stock to $2.50 WHICH IS NOT BAD!!! So what is going on??
Replies and comments welcomed.
