Balwinder,
Sorry for late to reply to you.
ASND(not ASDN) makes PRI/BRI multiplexer. However, most client uses analog modem, therefore, in their MAX product line, they have 8/16 ports (?) modem cards that uses Rockwell V.34bis modem chips currently.
The entire 56K story is that as long as the server side(i.e., the ISP side) is digital connection, then the remote side (i.e., the client side) , even it is using analog line (which most people in US today has access to), then the spped can go above 33.6kbps, which is the current limit.
Therefore on the server side, no matter that you are ISDN mux, T1, T3, fractional T1, Frame Relay, switched 56K, etc, as long as you are euqipped with 56k PCM /v.34bis modem chips from Rockwell, Lucent Technology(formerly AT&T), then you can suddenly reach a lot of customers!!!
This WILL BE THE FASTEST GROWTH MARKET today for internet access.
This is the market that USRX, ASND , CSCO (who bought a modem company), 3COM (who bought Penril, another modem company) can not give up.
