Dear Doug [again] - obviously, BAY is not an embodiment of perfection. Otherwise, it would command a better valuation with or without takeover bids. Personally, I do not buy the great value theory blindingly either. Having said that, investment is always a risky business [sorry to state the obvious <vbg>,] if it were such a no brainer then noone would be losing. However, stocks, especially tech stocks, have this strange behavior: if noone wants them, they are a piece of crap. If memory serves, Mr Cramer was absolutely negative about ASND when it was $24, then, when it broke $33 on the upside, he loved it. So, this is the business logic most people profess.
