Jason, I can't recommend any other game stock because I don't know them.

If you want a good game stock, I'd recommend Cendant (CD). They are a large holding company formed from the merger of two other companies. (HFS which owns Avis, a large hotel chain (HoJo?), and many other large brand names. The other company, whose name escapes me, is a subscription direct-marketing firm.) They own Blizzard, maker of Warcraft 2, Starcraft, and Diablo, which is what attracted me to them. They did have a correction to their earnings from the last quarter, which caused a large sell-off. But I'm still long on them, as was ValueLine, last time I checked.

I have had my eye on other gaming stocks, and I kind of expected MicroProse(MPRS) to recover from the failed merger with GTIS. Their '97 Xmas games were all postponed due to problems resulting from the failed merger. So I expected they would have good earnings in the 1st half of '98, when they distributed their backlogged games. Unfortunately, it looks like they did not do a good job with them, and the company will probably either be bought out or go under soon. (I had never heard of a 1 for 5 split before this!)

Cheers,
Tim
