It's interesting that the mainstream media is picking up on the internet chat groups. Still, The Montreal Gazette story gets it wrong as far as YBM goes - the post from Jacob Bogatin was addressed to me by name. That is hardly "anonymous"! And the scandal surrounding the company was already international by this time. The single attempt back-fired, not through media coverage, but because SI posters asked the Bogatin relevant questions about the company's unusual affairs that have yet to be answered. One gets the impression that off-line writers don't always read through SI posts to learn for themselves the facts or context - rather they rely on other print stories for some of their info... well, it's a start!
