Gary, sorry for the length of this post.

We seemed to have switched horses very quickly and, it could be argued, shrugging off DF-144 *unless* something positive happens. The focus on positive pursuit of new business for the empty Midland shell, a great idea, should Not preclude a focus and aggressive pursuit of our potential piece of DF-144. An impression could easily be made that this group of shareholders is not a long term concern...that we appear to have quickly regrouped and moved on to the future of MIDL. and aren't stupid enough to sue ourselves or similar sentiment. I, for one, didn't buy for the stock structure. I bought for DF-144, and the structure was an atractive appendage.

I am waiting patiently while John Spriggs weighs his options, calculates any potential exposures and so forth, he deserves this time, but I will take a very different position if he decides to keep walking, and I believe there are a large group of investors that feel the same way. I wouldn't want a piece of John, or Dan. I would want a piece of DF-144 profits or some other equitable arrangements as compensation. A great future success with the shell will not dissuade some of us from pursuing to closure a potential right to DF-144

Last Wednesday and Thursday, I PM'ed you to express my concern that given the lack of completed paperwork, all those claims of intenational patents and rights were probably suspect and suggested the real status should be communicated with the bad news re: Fisher to get it out of the way all at once and so as to not panic investors with bad news in dribs and drabs. I failed then to worry about the rights in general. Now moving backwards, do we have any bulletproof indication that the stock split/dividend etc. is in order? Not the dividend vs 3:2, not May 29, not x-div date.I mean:
Is there documentable proof that the original structure is, in fact, intact to ensure fans of the structure itself, to which a lot of us have turned our attention, are not burned again by potential false information on the very underpinnings of the Company?

Thanks in advance,
Scooter
