I think it is the Kiewit announcement. Kiewit can take on massive projects and this leaves little doubt that things will happen fast. I'm not sure they are interested in MCI internet. Jim Crowe said they want peering arrangements with MCI/WCOM and it was only a matter of time before they get it. They seem much more focused on the immediate business plan which is to get the networks up and running.
