The problem is a bug in Metastock updating function. Some securities will not get updates. This definitely needs a fix someday if Gary have time. The reason to keep a set of historical data in real Metastock format is that some data in QP2 are not clean. Take a look of BBY and JBL. Even QP2 cannot adjust spilt in real MetaStock data, that's fine - I can do it by hand. I just hope QP2 can correctly append daily data to existing MetaStock data. Clark BTW, if Gary can set the priority of qp_xx.exe to normal instead of high priority, that would be great. Several DOS boxes running qp_lc.exe at high priority make my NT system almost frozen. Thanks in advance.
