Not by any stretch. I don't want to dampen the enthusiasm because I too have enjoyed the price movement the last two days, but only a battle has been won not the war. Legislation will be back because it is still a campaign issue all the pols want.

I think the important thing is that the ceiling has been set. We now know that 5 or 6 hundred billion is too high a price. My guess is that we'll see a new bill that probably looks just like the original agreement that was made with the attorneys general. BT will probably sign on if they can get the liability limits they need so badly.

There is still uncertainty as regards MO and BT but at least the playing field has been defined.

Just a few thoughts. Let's enjoy watching the ticker.
