This statement misses the point entirely.

The question is not whether it is a viable company. Even most bears would concede that it is. The question is whether it's business is worth $4 billion dollars, or just some small fraction of that number.

Agreed. Even looking on the short boards, you see lots of folks who will say something like "it's a long-term short...but I covered and I'm long now...just for a while...really short term...until it shows a sign of breaking...maybe around earnings."

They'll get creamed worse than most.
