"Kill me?", queried TED, incredulously. "Hmmmm ... that wouldn't be good, would it? Uh ... just exactly who would have such thoughts? Not that Honda dealer down the street, whose business has been hurt by the new resurgence of Harley ownership here in Sedona. No, I paid him off. Who, then?" TED walked out of the deli, dazed. "But, this can't be true!", he thought to himself. "I'm such an all around nice guy. Could it be jealously? Yes ... that must be it! They're jealous of my good looks. My youthful exuberance. My knowledge of desert plant life." Cautiously, TED started up his Harley. Pleased to hear the rumbling of those chromed pipes, he put the thought of death out of his mind. He glanced once more back into the Sedona Deli, where he noticed Svejk on the telephone.
