Outside support? What for? I've always seen MSPG as a communications services business so IMO they wouldn't need some big media company to help them out. Besides they have plenty of cash and they aren't burning it like most Internet companies. IMO, if Brewer ever wanted to cash out (and I have no reason to think he might), he could sell the whole thing to a much bigger telecom company or to a CLEC like ITCD, but it's too early for something like that.

BTW, I still have concerns about what kind of competitive advantage the REBOCs will have as they roll out ADSL. BellSouth is rolling it out in Atlanta and other cities now and if they tell me I am close enough to the CO, I'll probably get it. I still like MSPG as a company (though I won't pay these prices for it), but I've become less than satisfied with their service here in Atlanta. If I can get ADSL and Bellsouth.net for a reasonable bundled price, bye bye MindSpring.

Regards,
Bob

PS: Low 20s? Those used to be mine. Some idiot sold them on me last fall. Don't get greedy, he said. ;-(
